  1. 1c brown sugar
  2. 3 egg yolks beaten
  3. 1/4 cup corn starch
  4. 3c milk
  5. 1/4c butter
  6. 1tsp vanil extract
  7. 1/2 tsp salt
  9. combine beaten eggs/sugar/cornstarch in bowl
  10. boil milk, add 1 cup slowly to eggs, temper
  11. add eggs mixture back to med heat milk, whisk constantly.
  12. decant once thickened.
