1c brown sugar

3 egg yolks beaten

1/4 cup corn starch
|

3c milk
|
|
1/4c butter
|
|
1tsp vanil extract
|
|
1/2 tsp salt
|
|
|
|
combine beaten eggs/sugar/cornstarch in bowl
|
|
boil milk, add 1 cup slowly to eggs, temper
|
|
add eggs mixture back to med heat milk, whisk constantly.
|
|
decant once thickened.
