seasoning (poultry, salt pepper, etc..)

bring tri tip to room temperature, coat in seasoning,
|
|
preheat oven to 450, add tri tip roast to oven in cast iron skillet and cook for 15 minutes.
|
|
|
|
drop temperature to 200 and cook until internal temperature reads 130.
