  1. Raymond's Shack Barbecue Sauce
  2. 1 14 ounce bottle ketchup
  3. 1 14 ounce ketchup bottle hot water
  4. 1 1/4 cups cider vinegar
  5. 1/4 cup sugar
  6. 2 rounded TBSP New Mexico style chili powder
  7. 2 rounded TBSP powdered ancho chilis
  8. 1 rounded TBSP salt
  9. 1 rounded TBSP pepper
  10. Tabasco to taste
  11. SHACK Barbeque Sauce
  12. liquid ingredients:
  13. Mix: 3 - 24 ounce plastic bottles of ketchup
  14. Fill these with hot water,
  15. rinse and dump ALL into bowl.
  16. 16 ounces of vinegar
  17. add liquid to pan, bring to simmer
  18. should be about to boil when add 'dry stuff'.
  19. Dry Stuff:
  20. 1 - 4 ounce can of chili powder
  21. 1 - 4 ounce can of black pepper
  22. 1 - 4 ounce can of garlic salt (not powder)
  23. 1/2 - cup sugar (more or less - to taste)
  24. 1 - small Tabasco (1oz to 4oz - to taste)
  25. 1 - small yellow mustard (apple size jar)
  26. Stir well
  27. Add dry mix to pan on stove
  28. mix well while bringing to boil
  29. immediately drop heat to 'simmer' = 30 min.
  30. (stir fairly often to avoid sticking)
